Seems like it has just flown by. Darling Daughter is in cooking class this week. So every morning I take her up to the church for 2 hours and she cooks with a bunch of other kids. Tomorrow they are going to prepare lunch for the office staff.
My Dad also came to visit this week, so we have enjoyed catching up with him a little bit. He isn't staying very long this trip so we are trying to cram as much as we can into the time we have.
The first day of cooking class, I decided it would be a waste of gas to come all the way home just to turn around and go back so I decided to just stay out and do some shopping. Stimulate that Economy. It did not take long to realize that I was spending a lot more money than if I just drove home and used a 1/2 gallon of gas. But it was a lot more fun to go "stimulating"!
So here is a challenge for those 2 people who are still reading my blog these days--How have you been stimulating the economy? Leave me a comment and tell me how you are spending your rebate!
We have bought some new clothes and a cabinet for the bathroom. (we have been in this house for 8 years without a cabinet in the potty room to hold toilet paper and stuff---so it was about time) I had my SUV waxed the other day. Basically, everytime myself or my hubby wants to buy something out of the ordinary we call it "stimulating the economy"!
YOUR TURN!

our stimulus check went right into savings! We have a busy and expensive summer ahead of us!
You are so funny!
We are buying food and gas.
We might take a trip sometime, who knows??
You already know how I spent mine....FENCE!!!
The cooking class sounds like a fun summer activity. Isn't it funny how we now think about how much gas we're using? I never used to think about it, but now I do.
I'm sorry I'm so behind in commenting! I read this post last week when you wrote it, and have kept up with your blog, but just haven't been taking the time to comment around anywhere. Been sidetracked!
We put our rebate into savings, but are going to have to take it out next month to pay off a big bill. Bummer!
Be glad to pay off the bill, though.
Hope this week has gone well for you. And, I hope y'all have a good weekend ahead. Did you get your bathroom cabinet put up?
Cheers & Blessings to you all today!
Dee
