Yes, we went to Disney world again! This was a good trip for us, as we got to stay at the Polynesian (I have always wanted to stay there and they do a good job of making it look like Hawaii!) Since this was our 3rd trip, it was a lot more laid back and relaxing. We did not feel the need to see EVERYTHING. We skipped the early hours at the park and hit the late hours instead. This allowed us to sleep late in the morning, go swim for awhile before hitting the parks in the afternoon. It always rains in Florida but this trip it rained about 5 pm everyday instead of the 1pm time that it rained the last two trips we made to Disney world. We just put on our rain ponchos and kept going. It was nice because the crowds would thin out after the rain and it would not be to crowded for awhile.
I don't think hubby thought the Polynesian was worth the extra money but I sure did. The resort is smaller than the other two we have stayed at. It is on the monorail, so less standing in line waiting for the buses (still had to take buses to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom)and the rooms were bigger than the other rooms we have stayed in. I loved it!
Less crowds at resort and less walking makes for a happier Mama. And when Mama is happy everyone tends to be a little happier!
So for all 2 of you who were waiting with baitted breath to find out where we went, there you have it!

I was RIGHT! Wow! I'm amazed.
Looks like a beautiful place to stay, to me. Maybe Tom and I will get to go there some day.
I've only been once, and that was back in the early 70s! I think Tom has only been once, too, not long after that.
It's probably a totally different world there today with much more to do, places to see (and more people!).
Thanks for sharing the pictures and telling us about it.
Cheers & Blessings to you all today!

Sounds like so much fun!! It's great that you got to have a little family time before school starts up again. We haven't taken our crew to Disney yet (going to wait until they're a little older) but it's always nice to hear about other people's experiences!
