Feeling Much Better!

Thanks to all who sent me well wishes last week, I am feeling much better and only have a little cough lingering. Darling daughter is out of school this week and spending a few days with her grandparents! Hubby also is off this week, so we are spending some much needed time together and getting a few things done around the house before the craziness of the holiday begins.

Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday! Enjoy your family, friends and of course the yummy food! Don't forget the reason for the Holiday! Thanks be to God for all of his blessings!

I just saw that that you enjoy signing...that's great! I've been teaching my 16-mo-old son to sign and he's doing so good with it! Instead of whining for something, he can sign that he is thirsty, wants to eat or potty even before he can say most of the words for his sign. I've taken a couple sign lang classes many yrs ago in college, then a friend sent me some "Signing Time" dvd's which help trememdously and my son loves them! Oh, I'm glad you're feeling better!

I sure hope you've had a good week, MAK. We have even though I've had a cold and cough. Bummer. I'm beginning to feel just a bit better this afternoon after sleeping 13 1/2 hours last night and then napping a couple of hours this morning! Guess I needed it.

Our friends live near Austin and I grew up with them both so it was really fun getting together. We enjoyed it immensely. Plus we spent the day Friday in New Orleans around the French Quarter and it was lovely weather. Very nice.

Drop by when you can over at Finding Direction. The door is always open!

Cheers! Dee
